Overlapping the twilight by ELK64 Overlapping the twilight by ELK64
Waaah finnaly finished. I never thought it would take me so much time to complete this drawing TAT;;; I'll probably re-use some concept of this picture in the future, because even if I really like it, it's hard to see the initial idea...

I hope you still like the result !

Want to reblog ? please do it from my tumblr account : [link] , thank you <3

There are no words that could ever make Overlapping the twilight justice. It evokes so many feelings, thoughts and long-forgotten dreams that it's impossible to not feel overwhelmed by its inspiring beauty. It certainly is one of the most compelling works in *ELK64's gallery but the rest of their work is a MUST see as well! (Suggested by many) ( Featured by rydi1689 )
Aller, je me lance ^^

A wildflower of the silencing kind, fills the space with a voice so the ones who can see, can finally open their mind

A world of a mystery is a way, as the grand elixerous whale takes a plummet upside down to tell us that it has no weight.

The keeper of the clouds holds a book to record what she sees so she can tell others to scream out aloud

Its time to bring the unleashing tensions between people, so we can eventually withhold against all the evil

Red and blue
the clouds that are shot up in those a hue
Join us to sail between a world where the ride itself will keep us stuck in an upside down prismatic glue

There are some concepts like this one that I see and don't like as much as yours. :) I think that's because your light source, the placement of the characters, and the gradual fade from night sky into light makes sense. It's well placed and my eyes swirl around the little path from the deer to the center.

It's odd to say this, but I've been bogged down by work, by drama within work and just a load of physical and mental exhaustion. Seeing this was able to make me feel comfortable. The blending of cool and warm colors, the mix of creatures from the sky, land and see plus the feeling of being weightless, light and the lack of weight in the picture. Seeing a creature of such mass in a place where weight and mass are almost non-existent it just feels as if the space has no gravity.

In short I feel like there is no weight on me anymore. I love it. Wonderful job.
